Machine Shop in San Marcos utilizing CNC controlled lasers to cut parts for electronics industry is looking for a Setup Technician for 1st shift - hours - 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday - Friday. . This is not an R&D lab; we are under a schedule to get work done. Must thrive in a quick paced environment.

1) will interface with inside sales to monitor schedule, interface with engineering team

2) Excellent manual dexterity required as well as an eye for visual quality and small features

3) Knowledge and use of precision measuring instruments - calipers, microscopes, manual CMM

4) Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with a good understanding of shop math

5) Must be able to follow and give written and oral instructions in English

6) Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
